Float Therapy Procedures

At Float Bonaire, we offer a unique escape experience with float therapy. Here’s what you can expect during your float session:

Before Your Float:

  • Consultation: Our staff will discuss your goals and any health conditions you may have to ensure float therapy is safe and appropriate for you. They’ll also explain the process and answer any questions you may have. You will receive a waiver to read, fill and sign.
  • Preparation: Bring your towel and flip flops (If you can’t we will take care of) You can choose to wear a swimsuit or float nude. We will provide ear plugs which we recommend using to protect sensitive ears.
  • Shower: A bath before entering the float pod helps ensure the cleanliness of the solution.

The Float Experience:

  • Entering the Pod: You can easily enter and exit the pod, be mindful while you do it.
  • Sensory Deprivation: Once inside, you can turn the lights off completely. Float in the Epsom salt solution, allowing yourself to experience profound relaxation. The environment is designed to minimize external stimuli, allowing you to focus on your inner world. No rush at all, take your time to get used to it.
  • Relaxation: This is your time to unwind and de-stress. Focus on your breath and let go of any worries or distractions.
  • Music: When your time is up, music will fade in, easing you out of the float experience.

After Your Float:

  • Shower: After exiting the pod, take a thorough shower to remove the salt solution.
  • Relaxation Room: We provide comfortable relaxation spaces where you can unwind and enjoy the lingering effects of your float experience.
  • Hydrate: Enjoy a cup of tea or drink water to replenish fluids after your session.

Important Considerations:

  • Safety First: Please inform our staff of any pre-existing health conditions, such as claustrophobia, epilepsy, or certain skin conditions, before attempting float therapy.
  • Listen to Your Body: If you experience any discomfort during the session, simply press the call button inside the pod, and a staff member will assist you immediately. You can easily exit the pod at any time.

  • Led lights for chromotherapy. They can be turned off from within if you prefer to float in the dark.
